How to spent time effectively in quarantine?

About how to spend time alone

1. Reconnect With Old Friends
We all have friends who stay far off in distant cities and countries and it is difficult to connect due to time difference and busy schedules. Why not take this opportunity to catch up on group video calls? It is time for some virtual connecting while practicing social distancing.
2. Learn A New Online Course
Have you been procrastinating on learning a new language, moving that calligraphy pen flawlessly, editing a video or becoming an expert at photoshop? I usually have these courses added to my cart but feel totally drained out at the end of the day to log into Coursera, Udemy or Edx.org and learn something new. But now I am all set to make the perfect use of this break, sit in my comfortable pajamas and fill in the gaps of my resume. And yes, definitely save cost!
3. Spend Good Family Time
We know this one might be controversial and probably has a time limit, but what’s more beautiful than coming together as a family? Minus the fighting and constant ‘he said, she said’, of course. But you could dust off the Monopoly, Ludo, Snake and Ladders, Sequence and Scrabble and find you have an amazing time as you re-connect. Plus you get a perfect chance to nullify your parent’s complaints of you not spending enough time at home. Here is a picture of my mom and I playing our favorite game – SEQUENCE. She amazes me with a new strategy every time we play this game.
4. Meditate
It’s important to be mindful of your surroundings as well as your well-being whilst in quarantine, and meditation might help you get a bit of peace of mind in times of uncertainty. Find a quiet space, light some candles and clear your mind with some therapeutic meditation music or relax with a meditation coloring book.
